The City of Tracy's Parks and Recreation Department’s vision is, “together, we create memorable experiences that link Tracy’s past, present, and future.”
Construction Updates
We are looking forward to bringing this community hub and resource to life. Below are updates as we progress through construction.
October 30, 2024
The team continues to make great progress. Accomplishments this past month include:
- Underground Utilities Installation
We have made significant progress in the installation of major underground utility lines, including domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, and fire protection water. - Earthwork
Rough grading of the site is mostly complete, including the pavilion, dog park, and skate park. Finish grading will take place after utilities have been completed. - Building
The installation of 637 stone columns has been completed as a structural element for the building foundation and installation of underground electrical and plumbing is underway. - IFM/Dust Control
A temporary gravel parking lot for IFM has been installed in preparation for winter and dust control. We have strict dust control measures in place to minimize the impact on the community and the environment. This includes regularly spraying water across the construction area, and installing rumble plates for vehicles exiting the site. Our goal is to keep the site as clean and safe as possible while construction progresses.
